Michał Sobczyński

Michał is the head of the transaction and company law practice at the Law Firm. He specialises in projects related to acquisitions, M&A transactions and optimization of business forms. He has extensive experience in the field of transformation of companies (transformations, mergers, divisions), as well as procedures related to the acquisitions of companies. He is also a recognised expert in handling economic lawsuits, including in particular commercial and corporate (intra-company) litigation.

He acts as a personal legal adviser to members of management boards and shareholders of large and medium-sized companies.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University and is a graduate of studies and training courses organised by the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge. In 2005, he successfully completed lawyer training and was entered in the list of lawyers of the Regional Bar Council in Poznań.

Basketball is his passion; he has been practicing this sport for “almost all his life”, earlier in youth and professional competitions, and now in amateur teams (he has won several times the title of the Polish champion in men’s basketball in the +35 category of the Polish Basketball Association).
