Attorney Michał Sobczyński, attorney-at-law Kamil Misiak and trainee attorney-at-law Jakub Krzywoń from the corporate law and transactions team advised THC on the acquisition of a 70 per cent stake in Dental Medicenter. Thus, the Dentity dental chain run by THC will gain two facilities in Warsaw.
The scope of advice included comprehensive legal services for the share acquisition transaction, preceded by due diligence, in which lawyers from the firm’s other teams also participated – from the litigation team led by attorney Aleksandra Sobczyńska (the firm’s managing partner), from the commercial contracts and environment team led by attorney Łukasz Jankowski (law firm’s partner), the labour law and HR team led by attorney Katarzyna Gohling (law firm’s partner) and the real estate and construction investment law team led by legal attorney-at-law Piotr Pawłowski (law firm’s partner). The project was finalised in May 2023.
The partners of Dental Medicenter were advised by Arkadiusz Michaliszyn and Emanuel Kośka – partners of the law firm MKS Partners Michaliszyn Kośka Sałuda.
The decision of Dentity group’s investment in Warsaw, is part of the long-term strategy of the THC fund, which is developing regional dental networks from 2020. The group already owns 16 dental centres, located in six voivodeships of Poland.
