Our law firm continues to be actively involved in helping the citizens of war-stricken Ukraine. We recently provided comprehensive legal services for the establishment of the Polewski Foundation, which aims to provide food support to those suffering from the armed conflict across our eastern border.
The founder of the foundation is Mr. Jacek Polewski – a baker who runs the Czarny Chleb bakery in Poznań’s Jeżyce district on a daily basis. In mid-April, Mr. Jacek packed half a ton of flour into his car and drove to Bucha to bake bread. Since then, Mr. Jacek’s charitable initiative has grown significantly, and today a professional food collection and distribution system for Ukraine is organized under the wings of the Polewski Foundation. The foundation also aims to counter poverty and social inequality, as well as to support people in areas of military conflict.
Our law firm’s legal advice included, in particular, the preparation of full documentation for the submission of an application for registration of the foundation, including its charter.
We wish the Polewski Foundation and Mr. Jack the best of luck.
