The law firm Sobczyńscy i Partnerzy | FSG Law supports a team of students from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, who are preparing to participate in the 31st edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court in Vienna.
This is the next stage of the young law students’ preparation for this event. This time, the team of students under the mentorship of Dr Filip Balcerzak, consisting of: Julia Frankiewicz, Gabriela Krawczyk, Dorota Piechowiak, Mikołaj Piekutowski, Natalia Przewoźniak and Zuzanna Rubaszewska, took part in arbitration hearing simulations and a workshop to improve speaking skills at Berlin Premoot 2024 on 1-3 March 2024.
The event was organised by the Humboldt University in Berlin. The Poznan students measured their legal and rhetorical skills against university teams from Dusseldorf, Leipzig, Istanbul, Göttingen, Bucharest and Vienna.
Participation in the pre-moots is an important stage in preparation for the competition in Vienna, which will take place from 24-31 March 2024. Students from UAM will compete there against the best teams from around the world, showcasing their skills in simulated arbitration hearings.
Supporting young talent is one of our law firm’s priorities. We are therefore pleased to be able to help young lawyers develop their skills and gain valuable experience.
We sincerely congratulate you on your achievements so far and wish you good luck in Vienna!
