On 20 February 2024, the transaction for the acquisition of shares in Ladros by Chefs Culinar was finalised. The law firm Sobczyńscy i Partnerzy | FSG Prawo provided comprehensive legal services for the transaction. As a result of the acquisition of a majority stake, Ladros entered the structures of the Chefs Culinar group.
Ladros is a well-known and respected Polish producer and distributor of meat products for the HoReCa sector. Chefs Culinar is one of the key suppliers on the Polish market for the HoReCa sector, with German roots, operating on the catering market for almost 100 years. It offers nearly 12,000 products (food and non-food), as well as comprehensive delivery to customers, including many Polish restaurants, hotels and catering companies. The Chefs Culinar team consists of more than 400 people.
On the law firm’s side, Chefs Culinar’s legal advisors were lawyers from the company and transaction law team, led by advocate Michał Sobczyński (managing partner of the law firm) and attorney-at-law Orest Ochocki (partner of the law firm, co-managing of the company law and transaction law team).
The transaction documents for the acquisition of the shares were signed in May 2023, the transaction was awaiting approval from the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
