Jakub Oliwiecki is an attorney-at-law and a licensed restructuring advisor, and a member of the corporate law and transactions team. He specializes in corporate law, contract law, bankruptcy law, and restructuring law.
He has over a dozen years of professional experience, gained as an in-house lawyer in capital groups that are leaders in their respective industries, as well as through cooperation with leading law firms in Poznań and by running his own law practice providing legal services to entrepreneurs. He has served as a bankruptcy trustee and court-appointed temporary supervisor in insolvency proceedings. He has advised entrepreneurs in restructuring proceedings, including acting as an interim manager.
He has advised a banking investment fund (FIZAN) on transactions involving the trading of real estate and enterprises, as well as on acquiring new and existing shares or stocks in capital companies; subscribing for and acquiring bonds; acquiring receivables and providing debt financing; and providing hybrid financing combining features of both equity and debt financing.
He advised on a share deal transaction involving shares in a Polish company managing office buildings, with a contract value of several dozen million PLN.
He also advised on share deal transactions involving shares in companies from the renewable energy sector (with the participation of one of the leaders in the PV project industry), with contract values totaling several dozen million PLN.
He graduated in law from Adam Mickiewicz University and completed his legal traineeship with the Regional Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Poznań
He is a fan of endurance sports (especially triathlon), good literature, and travel.
